Applying Creature Limitations to the Creator is Extremely Unwise
Many people do not believe the Trinity because it makes no sense to them. It makes no sense to them because they are only one person. And each and every other human being is also only one person. So, they conclude this idea of the Trinity is ridiculous. Impossible. All people are one person, not three. It all sounds very logical.
However, there is a fatal flaw in their logic. Their error is that they have not factored in the information that man (one's self and all other people) are creatures. And that God is not a creature but He is the Creator. The erroneous assumption that the poor little finite creature mind makes when comparing itself to the infinite brilliant mind and Person of Almighty God – is that one cannot apply creature limitations (one person only) to the Creator. In doing so, one is extremely unwise by limiting the Holy One of Israel.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
