Being Comfortable in Uncomfortable Situations

Chris McCann

One good thing about being raised in a home with a good deal of let's say alcohol-induced friction is that it has equipped me to be very comfortable in uncomfortable situations. Do I like them? No. Am I very comfortable in them – yes.

I used to wonder why the Lord wanted me to be raised in such a troubled environment. Over the last few years, I've come to realize why. It was excellent preparation for this time when much is often chaotic and the world has gone mad. Do I like it? No, not at all. Am I comfortable in the chaotic madness? I have to acknowledge that yes, I am.
