Major Difference Between Hittites & Vowel Points

This statement has been made in response to the fact that no vowel pointings have been found in any O.T. Hebrew writing:

” ... for the longest time archeologists did not believe that the Hittites existed, but then they found evidence that contradicted that false ‘theory.’ “

The big difference is that the Bible tells us about the Hittites. And so the question then is – do we believe the Bible or what archeologists say? Of course, God's people believe the Bible. And eventually the Bible was shown to be correct about the Hittites.

But the Bible has nothing to say about vowel points. So, it is not the same thing to say there's no evidence for my belief (of vowel points already existing in the O.T.) yet – but some day archeologists might uncover something to prove it right.
