Noah and Family Alive on the Earth Going through the Judgment

We know this much: that Noah and his family were alive living on the earth all through the period of the judgment of the flood. They were not lifted out of the world (although they were lifted up by the flood waters which the Bible ties with salvation). And during the time of the flood’s destruction of the earth we can be sure of the following:

1. The people within the ark needed patience for the flood to work its destructive course.

2. There was no life (salvation) outside of the ark.

3. The Word of God, as typified by the flood waters was only working wrath to the people of the earth outside of the ark.

4. There was necessary food and drink within the ark to nourish all within.

5. Noah and his family were performing service to all the other creatures on board in taking care of their needs (i.e. feeding the sheep).

6. Indicators began to show up regarding the flood waters leaving the earth signaling the end of God’s judgment.

7. Indicators of the new earth also began to show themselves (tops of mountains seen, olive leaf plucked off).

8. Noah and family + animals finally do leave the ark and enter new world.
