People who “loved” Mr. Camping

I've had my fill of people who say how they "loved" Mr. Camping's teachings and him as a teacher – right before they then proceed to tear all his teachings apart as full of errors.

THE BIBLICAL CALENDAR OF END TIME TEACHINGS — ARE CORRECT

I hear some FR listeners say how wonderful Mr. Camping's teaching was, before they then proceed to tear it a part.

They think he was wrong about the timeline of history.

They think he was wrong about the end of the church age.

They think he was wrong about the date of May 21, 2011. And so on, but oh, how they loved his teaching.

Well, the fact is, that Mr. Camping was correct about many, many things. For instance:

The Biblical calendar of history and all its many dates (starting with the creation date of 11,013 BC, flood date 4990 BC, etc., etc.).

He was correct about the duration for the church age of 1,955 years.

—Correct about the first part of the great tribulation being 2,300 evening mornings.

—Correct about the full 23 year great tribulation period.

—Correct about Satan as the man of sin taking his seat in the temple.

—Correct about the binding and loosing of Satan and the timing regarding it.

—Correct about none being saved within the congregations throughout the 23 years.

—Correct about the end of the church age.

—Correct about God commanding His people to come out of the churches.

—Correct about May 21, 2011 being the equivalent day 7,000 years from the flood.

—Correct about May 21, 2011 being the beginning of Judgment Day.

—Correct about God saving all of His elect by that date.

—Correct about there being a prolonged period of Judgment Day.

(Mr. Camping thought it would be 5 months, which was incorrect, but knew it must be a prolonged period which has turned out to be correct).

—Correct about the righteous being righteous and the filthy being filthy once we entered into Judgment Day.

—Correct about God ending His evangelization program for the world on May 21, 2011.

—Correct about God's command to feed sheep.

This is only a list concerning end time teachings.

Of course, he was correct on much more than this in numerous other biblical matters (faith of Christ, Christ's atonement from the foundation of the world, etc., etc.).
