Deuteronomy 29:23Revelation 11:7Luke 17:29Revelation 14:10

Deuteronomy 29:23 And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:

A land that has experienced fire and brimstone is not sown nor does it bear any fruit nor does any grass grow upon it.

Revelation 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Once the Two Witnesses were killed, the churches and congregations of the world became Sodom-

Luke 17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

-and experienced the wrath (spiritual fire and brimstone) of God. And as a result the Sower could no longer sow (His Word) upon it; and no fruit or grass could grown within any church in the world ever again.

Of course, in this time of the world's final judgment, the nations have also experienced spiritual fire and brimstone coming down upon them from the hand of an angry God. And the same thing holds for the world as with the church before it. The earth is spiritually burnt and cannot be sown nor bear any fruit ever again.

Revelation 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
