All that Dwell Upon the Earth Worship the Beast – Except for a Few

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

The Lamb's book of life is language referring to God's election program.

Worship is tied to obedience. Since the garden of Eden, descendants of Adam/Eve have worshipped the evil one as they obeyed his lie (you will not surely die by eating the forbidden fruit) over the truth of God (in the day you eat thereof you will die).

Every unsaved person worships the beast (another of Satan's many names in the Bible). In that regard, the elect are the rebels as God takes us from the dark kingdom and translates us into the kingdom of light (Christ's). We then worship God as a result. That is, we obey and follow God's Word, the Bible.
