Biblical Principle is the Wise Will Know but the Wicked Won't Know

You Tube comment on EBF's "Biblical Evidence for the End in 2033" study:

"There is no date or time given in the bible see Matthew chapter 24"

EBF reply:

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Right after saying no man knows the day and hour, Jesus tells us His coming will be as it was in time of Noah. This is a curious historical reference. Why? Because God told Noah the exact day of the flood:

Genesis 7:4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

And,

Genesis 7:10 And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.

After saying no man knows – why would Jesus give an historical reference to an event wherein Noah and family (8 souls) did know the day, month, and year of a worldwide judgment of God?

What careful study of the Bible reveals is that there is a Biblical principle that operates all through time, which is that God reveals His secrets (matters of time and judgment) to His elect people – they will know. But though the ungodly be told about it – they will not know. We find this also in Matthew 24:

Matthew 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

The ones that did not know were ALL the people outside of the ark. Or all the people outside of Christ's salvation. Those within the ark (in Christ) – knew. Those without the ark (outside of Christ) did not know.

The Biblical principle is stated in the book of Daniel:

Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

The wise (elect) will understand once the book (Bible) is unsealed at the time of the end (our time); but the wicked will not understand.

I would be glad to show you numerous other Scriptures supporting this principle if you are interested? Sadly, most in the churches are not interested because they prefer ignorance as news of the end is troubling to them in a similar way as the news of Christ's first coming was troubling to Herod and all Jerusalem with him (Matthew 2:3).
