The Word of God called the Bible was compiled by God (its Author) from around 1447 BC to about 95 AD (roughly 1,500 years). This means portions of the Bible were written 3,500 years ago. And the book was completed around 2,000 years ago.

The Word the Bible tells us about however, is Christ who is God and who has lived forever:

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD.

And,

John 1:14 And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us,

Of course, if the Word was God and the Word was made flesh this means that God became flesh. Which is exactly what the Bible tells us:

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH,

So the information that Holy Book contains is not billions of years old. It is older than that. It is eternal. As old as God Himself. And God has existed from eternity past – having no beginning. He has always been.
