Directed to Atheists
Forgiveness of sins is not granted due to asking. God chooses whom He will save. Biblical fact that the apostate end time church of our day turns around (perverting the gospel by doing so) to suit their own desires to grow their congregations.
John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you
Who chose who? Jesus chose His people. The word “elect” means "chosen". And it applies to both Jews and Gentiles (far, far more Gentiles as they vastly outnumber Jews in the world). But words of accepting Christ or saying, "forgive me" don't save. God will save whom God will save:
Romans 9:15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
Notice it’s actually stated in verse 16 above that it (salvation) is NOT of him that willeth. There goes free will out the window. But (salvation) is of God that shows mercy. He is sovereign.
And if there was an atheist, let’s say in this group, who was predestinated before the foundation of the world to become saved, then God would exercise His sovereign will and draw that person to Himself. They might come kicking and screaming. But they would come nonetheless:
John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
The Greek word translated as "draw" is a very forceful word. It’s used when the Jews thought that Paul had brought a Gentile into the temple, and a mob formed and "drew" him out of the temple with the purpose of killing him. So we can be sure they did not politely direct him to the exit. They undoubtedly grabbed him by the legs, arms, hair, throat and lifted him up to carry him outside to kill him. However, God arranged for the Romans to come and interrupt their plans. But Paul being dragged out teaches us about that word draw. Very forceful. Almost violent meaning to it.
God is NOT the weakling god proclaimed by the churches. Oh, poor God of the Bible. He did it all for you. He died for you (lie) He loves you (lie) and He has a wonderful plan for your life (lie). But He can't do any more. Now it’s up to you (lie) sinner. You must exercise your will (lie) and come to Him. Poor, poor God.
Pure nonsense. Makes you wonder if they've ever read the Bible. The God that the Bible reveals is all powerful. Infinite in His Being. His Word is quick and powerful (Hebrews 4:12). He speaks and a world and universe comes into existence. Of course, if He so decreed, that any atheist was of His elect people – He would say, come to Me. And the atheist would come.
The true God and Gospel is powerful. Not the pathetic weak god churches put forth who is totally dependent on the whims of sinful men (really an idol formed out of the church's vain imagination as much as a carved piece of wood decked with gold and silver).
