God is Faithful in His Provisions
I'm more than a little surprised by this. For several months I thought EBF was operating in the red (spending more than came in).
For several years now (almost a decade), EBF has not actively requested donations. We have a 24/7 web radio and we have not once asked for funds of any listener. We do not even have monthly share days like FR used to have.
We do have a donation link on our website. But that's it. Otherwise we do not talk about it.
And yet, for about a decade every year EBF's bills have been paid. Every outreach we try has been paid for without us telling our listeners about it. Without us requesting funds to support it.
This has led us to increase our financial outreach more and more each year trusting God will supply for the increase. In 2025 we increased our budget far more than in past years.
In 2025 we got back into purchasing airtime (which is very expensive) in the spring and summer from radio stations and we spent a whole lot in a short period of time. Again, we did this trusting the Lord would provide. We trusted that He would move within His people to will and to do – without us even notifying people of any need.
However, as the months passed, we did not see sufficient funds coming in to cover those extra costs. This year I thought finally God covering all expenses for EBF had changed. And I also thought, well, the Lord has His reasons. His perfect will be done.
But I was wrong – He did cover all expenses once again. I was just told today by Jonathan (he handles EBF's books) that all ministry expenses for the year 2025 were covered. With a little extra left over.
So I really am very surprised. I really can't explain how it happened. As the funds coming in did not appear to be sufficient. Yet the Lord worked it out once more. Thanks to God for His faithfulness.
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
