Is God Still Saving? Answering By Directing People to the Foundation of the World is Evasion

We do not try to evade the question regarding whether or not people are being saved today by saying it was all accomplished at the foundation of the world. That is a non answer.

Yes, God chose His elect before the foundation of the world. And yes, God the Lord Jesus Christ died for them at the point of the foundation of the world thereby guaranteeing their salvation.

None of these things are in view by the question of whether or not God is still saving since May 21, 2011.

The sending forth of the Gospel unto salvation throughout time and history had to do with the application of Christ's shed blood (shed at the world's foundation). So pointing people to the foundation to answer whether or not God is still applying Christ's shed blood to sinners in our present time – is avoiding answering the question.

The answer is that the application of Christ's blood – which the hearing of the Word brought to those chosen by God to receive it unto salvation – ceased on the date of May 21, 2011.

By declaring these things, we ourselves are not pointing the finger at any individual in any way.

We are simply stating the truth we have learned from God's Word. The judgment any might feel by this information is coming from the Bible and not from the elect child of God. This is why God declared that His Word would judge in the last day:

John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
