Jesus is Coming Back Soon – Wrong! He has Already Come!

Ecclesiastes 12:131 John 3:9Isaiah 55:8

On a daily basis now we're all witnessing the evidence of God's judgment on the world.

Further down, down, down into the depths of unrestrained sin goes mankind. Many are shocked at the degree of the depravity.

Shocked.

Horrified even.

Yet still, unwilling to humble themselves before the Bible's teaching that Judgment Day began on the date of May 21, 2011. "It's bad, really bad," yes they'll admit that, "and its telling us Jesus is coming soon."

No. Wrong answer. Wrong conclusion.

Jesus is NOT coming soon.

Jesus has already come and is presently judging this world.

Quora Q. I want to know why God created me. Why am I here?

EBF response:

Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Unfortunately, the creature man fails at his duty of keeping God’s commandments. And so in the resulting darkness of understanding that follows the path of going away from God in sin (sin is defined as the transgression of the law), man begins to seek all kinds of other selfish meanings to his life. Yet none of these ways can truly satisfy him because they are all poor substitutes insofar as his original creation position of serving God is concerned.

It is only when God saved a sinner and made him a new creature (2 Cor. 5:17) possessing a new spirit that that individual once restored becomes able to properly serve God by keeping His commandments (1 John 3:9). And in doing so the man finds true purpose and meaning to his existence.

By the way, there are a great many fools (the fool says in his heart there is no God) who have commented on your question – who for some reason are zealous missionaries for their gospel of no God.

Apparently these people are commenting in the light of day. Not in the thick darkness of sorrow that comes upon a person at times of deep thought and consideration. They like to present themselves as intellectuals who’ve put off the ancient relic of belief in God. Yet, as one reads their notes, there is a callous superficiality to the things they say. You’ll not find any depth of understanding or meaning to deep questions of existence among them. For a genuinely deep intellectual perspective – turn to the brilliant and infinite mind of the God who made you – the Bible reveals that infinite mind:

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
