Look Out Your Window and Behold the Workings of Man's Wisdom in Action

The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the essence of wisdom Himself (1 Corinthians 1:30). Christ's Word, the Bible, declares that wisdom. Oh, but men no better than the Bible, don't they. So they tell us all the time.

Either said directly, or certainly implied, the man of the world (little tiny finite man) knows better than the God of the Bible. He thinks he is wiser than the God of the Bible. He believes he is more moral and really – although they don't like to use the word – is holier than the God of the Bible. Just leave it to man and his wisdom. He'll straighten it all out.

Has he ever straightened it out in all the previous thousands of years? No. But now he can, after all, he's developing phones that can perform a lot of functions, and laptops. Ccertainly he is the all-knowing one whose wisdom will cure us all.

Look out your window. Doesn't matter where you are. What country. What city. Doesn't matter. It’s the same scene everywhere. Chaos. Madness. Hatred. Fighting. War. Evil act after evil act.

What we are all witnessing, when we look out that window, is the wisdom of men on display. The wisdom of men who have left God and His Word, the Bible. And have fled to their own little tiny finite minds for understanding and wisdom to solve man's issues big and small.

Yet in their flight from God and the Bible – nothing has gotten better. Nothing is progressing towards goodness. Towards righteousness. Instead it is all going away from wisdom into increasingly more ignorance of understanding and darkness of right knowledge. Even worse, all around the earth men are doing down, down, down into ever descending depths of depravity.

O man, this is your world. This is what your wisdom has made. The cruelty. The coldness of hearts. The constant evils of the heart expressed in words and deeds through your great electronic inventions you are so enamored with.

Even the religions – all false – in their false teachings are showing themselves to be part of your world – which specializes in falsehoods and deceitfulness and errors of all kinds.

Again, O man, look around you, look closely in the mirror – for there you'll find the monster you seek.

O man, at this time of the world's end, the God of the Bible mocks you. You rejected Him and His Holy Word and its glorious wisdom. Very well, God has given you up to your own self. Given you up to your own extremely limited thoughts and understanding. God has given you up to your own wisdom and knowledge which is choking the life out of you by its utter foolishness.

1 Corinthians 1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
