Comment left on EBF's You Tube video regarding the end in 2033: "No one knows even Jesus Christ only the father"

EBF response:

The church likes to make these kinds of statements and as is typical with the corporate church they are not well thought through.

Here's the Bible verse you are referring to:

Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Here's a few of the questions the church ignores when saying Jesus doesn't know the timing for the end:

- Was not Jesus Christ God in the flesh? How then is it possible for God to not know something?

- Since Jesus is God – He is the Almighty and does not the Bible say that "times are not hidden from the Almighty"? (Job 24:1)

- Jesus declared that He and the Father were One! (John 10:30). So if the Father knows...

- The church's doctrine that Jesus (God in the flesh) did not know something is demeaning to His divine nature. Yet, the church tries to smooth this over by saying that He was still God in every other way – only in this matter of not knowing the day or hour (time of judgment) was He without knowledge. Let's allow the church's position on this for a second. If it were true that Jesus knew all other things but not this one thing – how difficult would it be for Him to realize through deductive reasoning that that one day He was drawing a blank about was the day and hour of judgment? It wouldn't be that difficult would it? Even we mere faulty mortals could deduce something as easy as that and quickly draw a circle around that particular calendar date.

The only right conclusion we can come to is that Jesus Christ, Almighty God in the flesh, most certainly possessed knowledge (intellectually knew) of the timing for the final judgment of mankind and the end of the world. It makes zero sense for Him not to know – given the fact that He is the One who is the Judge of the world (John 5:27) and one of His names is "the ending" (Rev. 1:8).

Well, why then does God say that of that day and hour no man knows, "neither the Son"?

Adding the language of the Son not knowing was actually a safeguard put in place by God-because He knew His true elect people would question the idea of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord God omnipotent Himself, not knowing something, anything at all, let alone the critical subject of time and judgment. And once we question how the Son could not know, we also question what it means that man cannot know. Raising these questions caused us to delve into these things and find answers that do not forbid the Lord's people from gaining understanding of matters having to do with time and judgment (see Proverbs 28:5, Daniel 12:9,10, Ecclesiastes 8:5, Proverbs 22:3).
