No Man Knows – Until God Reveals It!

No man knows – any of the secret things of God – until God reveals them to him:

Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

Once revealed to the individual they belong to him. So, when another comes along whom the Lord has not revealed His secret to because he is not one of His servants the prophets (that is a true elect child of God) and says, "you cannot know this thing"-while it is true of that person it is not true of

God's elect. For God has revealed and given the secret thing to His people.

God's secret things are unknowable by man. Of ourselves we know nothing of the Person of God or of the plan of God for man and this world.

However, as king Nebuchadnezzar told Daniel, our God is a God who revealeth secrets:

Daniel 2:47 The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.

The God of the Bible is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. He does not change. Even in our day He is still the same God who reveals secret things to His elect people-as they follow the Biblical principles He has laid out for them in studying His Holy Word the Bible the secret or hidden things of God come forth. Including, and especially information related to time and judgment.

What would God's people know about the Father if God did not reveal His secret things to us concerning Himself? We would not know anything at all about the Father:

Matthew 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

In other words, no man can know the Father unless Christ reveals Him to us. This is how it is with all Bible truth. Including information related to time and judgment.

Matthew 10:26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

Nothing is covered and nothing is hid that will not be known. This is referring to the secret things of God hidden in the Bible. And most especially hidden things that relate to end of the world matters of time and judgment. According to this Scripture (Matthew 10:26) it is God's plan to reveal and make known all hidden things. It is the wisdom derived from these hidden things that God's elect speak:

1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

And, of course, since the wisdom is derived from the hidden mysteries (parables) of God's Word only the wise can understand and speak them. None of the wicked will understand them.

Once again we see, no man knows, until God reveals it to him.
