Reasons why the 2,300 evening mornings Began in 1988 and did NOT begin in 1994
- The 1,955 years of the Church Age takes us to 1988. 1,955 years = 5 x 17 x 23
- It is a huge error to say that the spiritual desolation and famine of the grievous 2,300 days began in the Jubilee year of 1994. The Jubilee is a time when the captives are set free. The 2,300 days involves the complete opposite of that.
- The Biblical calendar is very neatly tied together. May 21, 1988 fits perfectly with May 21, 2011. A full 23 years. An exact 8,400 days. The 2,300 days ending on Sept. 7th, 1994 at the time that the Jubilee year is beginning is hard to dismiss.
- The alternative put forth is for the 2,300 evening mornings to start in 1994 and conclude sometime in 2000 or 2001. The inexact nature of this time line reveals those putting this idea forth have not done their homework and have no idea how to fit the 2,300 days into a precise time pattern (as God has done with the actual placement of the 2,300 days from May 21, 1988 thru Sept. 7th, 1994).
- The year 1988 is the 13,000th year of earth's history. And the year 1994 has multiple time paths pointing to it. The year 2000 or 2001 is not a date that time paths point to as far as I know. The year 2000 is 13,012 years from creation. And 2001 is 13,013 years. Neither are significant numbers – as far as the fullness of thousands of years being reached – the attached numbers of 12 and 13 are insignificant. There appears to be no precedent for these years in God's use of time paths of the past.
- Starting the 2,300 days in the year 1994 and having them conclude in 2000/2001 only allows for about 10 or 11 years of the latter rain. Whereas the actual 17 year period (1994 to 2011) is a number that identifies with heaven and heaven with salvation.
7. The year 1994 is established as the year in the midst of the Great Tribulation wherein God begins to bless His people (as in 1877 BC with Jacob/Israel entering into Egypt after 2 years in midst of 7 year famine).
8. Mr. Camping has given time path from 1877 BC going 1,290 years (1,290 days from Daniel 12) and landing on 587 BC. 587 BC happens to be in the midst of the historical 70 year tribulation period upon Judah. Tripling the number 1,290 once more = 3,870.
1877 BC + 1994 = 3871 - 1 (no year zero) = 3,870
1994 is in the midst of the actual Great Tribulation that began in 1988. And still would continue until about 17 years until May 21, 2011.
In summary, it appears that there is no Biblically valid reason for changing the Biblically established time line for the 2300 days from 1988 thru 1994 – to 1994 thru 2000/2001. We can say, then, that it is unbiblical to make this change.
