Something that just occurred to me [39/40 parallels]

From Jesus' birth in the Jubilee year of 7 BC to the Jubilee year of 1994 is 2000 years. And it is 40 Jubilee periods.

But those 40 Jubilee periods can be broken up.

The first outpouring of the Holy Spirit during the Church Age/early rain spanned 39 Jubilee periods.

The second outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the latter rain only had 1 Jubilee period.

Therefore, the 40 Jubilees can be broken up this way:

39/40

The same as Christ's ministry was 40 inclusive years/but 39 actual.

And just as Jonah's journey into Nineveh was 1 day in city. And 39 days out of the city.

Also, the same as the maximum penalty of stripes was 40. But in actuality 39 were applied (2 Corinthians 11:23,24).

So too, for the New Testament period, there were 40 Jubilees. Broken up as:

39 early rain/1 latter rain.
