Atheist (think he's warming to me) comment:

"please stop saying the bible is the evidence it's not . Its the CLAIM . It claims gods , resurrection , zombies and fake floods . I dismiss your claims as false sir . You have no evidence"

Abundant evidence. But you have no eyes to see it. Nor ears to hear it. Nor living spirit to perceive it in any way. The problem isn't the evidence. The problem is as a sinner you are completely ill equipped to receive it. And again, that's because you're dead. As dead as this woman is said to be:

1 Timothy 5:6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

Dead while living. This is the solution to Jesus' statement, "let the dead bury the dead". The physically alive but spiritually dead sinners may bury their physically dead relatives. The dead bury the dead.

It’s really a very basic Biblical concept. The sinner is dead. Being "born again" can accurately be understood to being "resurrected" in soul. As Psalm 23:3 states, "He restoreth my soul".

If that has not happened to people, they will never understand anything about the Bible or the God of the Bible. Because, sadly, they are dead.
