Ezekiel Laying on His Left Side 390 + Right Side 40 = 430
Since we just discussed how the time line from the coming out of Egypt after 430 years and the crossing of Jordan 40 years after that leads us to 1994 and 2033 – it’s an appropriate time to look at the 430 days of Ezekiel 4 which also leads us to those same two dates (1994 & 2033):
Ezekiel 4:4 Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.
5 For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.
Left side = 390 days
Right side = 40 days
Total = 430 days
In the book 1994? Mr. Camping solved the 390 days.
He pointed out that from the time God changed Jacob's name to Israel, in the year 1907 BC, until the year 1994 was:
1907 + 1994 = 3,901 years - 1 (no year zero) = 3,900 years
This 3,900 year period was the fulfillment of the 390 days.
As far as the 40 days reference, Mr. Camping was incorrect as he backtracked to the birth of Jacob/Esau in 2007 BC and again arrived on the year 1994.
As the language of Ezekiel 4:4-6 indicates the 390 + 40 is sequential or chronological. Before Ezekiel can turn to his right side he must first complete the 390 on his left side. Then after completing it, he may turn over and start the 40.
Due to our advantageous vantage point of living on the earth in the day of God's judgment, we can more quickly see that from 1994 to the year 2033 is a period of 40 inclusive years. And it is this 40 inclusive year period that fulfills the spiritual meaning of God's commandment to Ezekiel to turn and lay on his right side.
1994 to 2033 = 40 inclusive years
The solution to the mystery of the 430 days God commanded the prophet Ezekiel to lie on his left/right side is this:
390 days / 3,900 years from 1907 BC to 1994 AD
40 days / 40 years from 1994 AD to 2033 AD
430 days total / 3,940 calendar years total
The 3,940 calendar years is therefore the equivalent of 430 days or years.
And at the end of the 430 (actual time of 3,940 calendar years) comes ultimate deliverance of God's elect people who leave this world (Egypt) by entering into the liberty of the new heaven and new earth.
