One or the Other

Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Either God's Spirit or Satan's spirit is now working within you – which is it?

If God's Spirit – then you will desire to do His will and be able to accomplish it.

If Satan's spirit – then we all know how that works out.

By the way, the Greek word energeo (Strong's #1754) is the same in both verses. Which means either God's Spirit energizes our soul and lights our inner man – or it is left in the dark (deadness of sin) only for the working of the evil spirit.
