The Same Event To All!

Ecclesiastes 9:2 All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked;

God does not take His people out of the world and then bring judgment. No. There is one event to all. The same event to all.

In this passage the storm represents the judgment of God. Notice-that the same storm – identical in every way – falls upon the house of the wise (Christ is the Wise and the elect are His house) and upon the house of the foolish (Satan is the foolish and the unsaved are his house).

Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
