To Die is Gain! To Die is Loss!

To die is gain for the elect (saved) child of God.

Philippians 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

To die is loss for the non elect (unsaved).

Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Discussion of the end of the world is on par with discussion of the end of one's life (death).

Obviously, an individual's spiritual condition will impact how he/she receives information speaking of this world's end.
