Wars Unify – Which Is Why There Will Not Be a World War 3
Wars tend to bring people together. To unify a people or nation. But the character of the judgment upon the world is that of division. Not the division of nation against nation. That's the way it’s been throughout the whole history of the world. But the division within each nation. People against people. Neighbor against neighbor:
Zechariah 14:13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
Which is why, based on the Scriptures, I do not thing we need to be concerned about a World War 3 taking place. And more than likely for the aggressor, the war will probably be a spark that ignites great trouble or division at home, from within. It is the divisions within America, and within Canada, and within Australia, etc. that are revealing the fallen nature of Satan's kingdom of this world. The communist countries are part of that kingdom and must also fall. The evidence of a fallen world is division (Mark 3:24-26). This evidence will be seen in Russia and China as well as everywhere else on earth. The evil of the pouring out of God's wrath in Judgment Day will go from nation to nation and not allow any to escape:
Jeremiah 25:30 Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.
31 A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD.
32 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
33 And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth:
