When is the Rapture? It's on the Last Day!

By Chris McCann
July 3, 2019

We've had to make correction regarding when the rapture takes place. Mr. Camping used to teach, and we previously thought, that the elect must be raptured out of the world before God would bring judgment on the unsaved. However, the Bible will NOT allow for that conclusion. It can be shown from the Bible that God's elect are left on the earth to go through the final judgment that falls upon the world. And, obviously, since we are alive and remaining on the earth to go through the judgment, we were not raptured beforehand.

When is the rapture of the elect then? The rapture of God's elect occurs on the last day – of this prolonged judgment period.

John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The rapture and resurrection of the dead occur simultaneously on the last day.

May 21, 2011 began the prolonged (spiritual) judgment on the world. All the days since that date

are part of "Judgment Day." We are in Judgment Day today, and tomorrow, and will be for some time to come. On the very last day (Biblical evidence is pointing to the last day falling sometime in the year 2033) of this extended Judgment Day period, we will then come the literal end of the world, and with that the resurrection of the dead and the rapture of the elect who made it all the way to that time.
