A World Divided Means Satan's Kingdom is at its End!

By Chris McCann

Since May 21, 2011, we've been witnessing the judgment of God upon Satan's kingdom of this world. The evidence of this judgment is the constant and unresolvable division that has entered into practically every aspect of society.

A world divided means Satan's kingdom--has an end

Mark 3:24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.

At the end of 70 years Babylon fell and the king of Babylon was slain. This pointed to the end of the actual 23 year Great Tribulation period which concluded on May 21, 2011. It was then that the kingdom of Babylon (this world) and its king (Satan) fell and his kingdom was divided:

Daniel 5:25 And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.

26 This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.

27 TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.

28 PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

In this time of a divided world one faction will rise up and seek to destroy another faction.

Spiritually, it is as though the world and its nations are self destructing:

2 Chronicles 20:22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.

A divided kingdom is brought to desolation

Luke 11:17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.

We see this with the fall of Babylon in Revelation chapter 18:

Revelation 18:17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,

18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

God is avenging the blood of His servants and the desecration of His temple (judgment upon the churches) right before our eyes:

Jeremiah 51:11 Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.

Division divides a kingdom. And division brings desolation. Babylon is made desolate (is divided) and its desolation (division) is the vengeance of God for the destruction Babylon performed on His temple (corporate church which carried the name of God).
