Nothing! Zero! Earlier Than Around 5,000 years There's No Written Record At All

It's very unusual, isn't it, that written language, and various languages, just suddenly appear at a point only around five thousand years ago?

Why don't we see an archaeological record of man slowly developing various languages, and writing them down, over the course of hundreds of thousands of years?

I'm not saying that we should find written records laying down theories to Einstein; or that we should find some plays, or short stories similar in ability to Shakespeare. But it would be nice to find at least some early attempts at grammar and maybe some ABC type books a hundred thousand years ago. In fact, it would be nice to find some kind of writing, any kind of writing at all.

But the fact is there's nothing! Zero record of any kind of writing beyond five thousand, or fifty five hundred years ago.

Another thing modern science cannot explain, but the Bible explains easily:

Genesis 11:7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
