A Basic Bible Principle of Harmony

A basic Bible principle is that God will not contradict Himself. Which is why all doctrinal conclusions must harmonize with everything else the Bible says.

Therefore, we must understand that God would (and has) worked out His salvation program in perfect accord with every other true doctrine His Word reveals.

In other words, if God's Word, the Bible, has revealed specific times for judgment (on the church and world) and clearly indicates this judgment occurs because the fruits (elect) have become saved (James 5:7), then in order to find harmony with the doctrine that Jesus paid for the sins of His elect people at the foundation of the world, we would need to conclude that those chosen people were all found and the blood of Christ applied – or else the door would not (and could not) have been shut and the judgment of God be carried out.

Again, this is the basic Bible principle of harmony.
