It is Good to Give Thanks to God in the Day of Judgment

By Chris McCann

Psalm 100:3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Thank you Lord for faithfully completing the first stage of your salvation program by saving all of those named in the Lamb's book of life.

Thank you Lord for fulfilling your promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob concerning multiplying their seed as the stars of the heaven for multitude.

Thank you Lord for never leaving nor forsaking your people and of being our guide even unto death.

Thank you Lord for the revelations of your righteous judgment that you have brought forth from your Word and revealed to your people in this grievous time period.

Thank you Lord for your concern in providing spiritual feeding and nourishment for your sheep in this time of the outpouring of your wrath.

Thank you Lord that it is you who will cause each one of your elect people to stand before the judgment seat of Christ and to endure to the end of the prolonged Judgment Day.

Thank you Lord for moving in your elect children causing us to wait on you patiently throughout these days after the tribulation.

Thank you Lord that though the world around us is evil and wicked and untrustworthy you are good and pure and faithful and true wholly to be trusted and leaned upon.

Thank you Lord that our suffering is short and temporal and soon to give way to everlasting joy and happiness.

Thank you Lord for the rich and abundant spiritual blessings in Christ you have blessed your elect people with.

Thank you Lord for your Holy Word the Bible which is our wonderful comfort as applied by the Comforter in tribulations and constant afflictions.

Thank you Lord for the grace and mercy you've bestowed upon us unworthy and filthy sinners.

Thank you Lord for strengthening us in our souls which enables us to live day by day carrying the light burden of the cross while in this world.

Thank you Lord for that which is soon to come. For everlasting life as we dwell in a new perfect creation in everlasting bliss.

2 Corinthians 9:15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
