We're Now Living in the Time of the Dead

It says in Revelation 11:17-18:

Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged…

So a certain “time” has come. It is called “the time of the dead, that they should be judged.” The Bible tells us for everything there is a time and a season, a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted. As far as the time to plant, you could replace that with “the time to save.” We went forth with the Word of God, sowing the seed upon the hearts of men during the Day of Salvation. God saved His people – it was a time to plant or a time to save.

Following this there is a time to pluck up that which is planted. The sowing process is completed. Now it is time for judgment. So there is a time set aside by God to judge. It is a specific time period, which we had initially had some understanding about. We thought it would be literally five months, originally, but that was incorrect. That was wrong, and it was actually a figure used in Revelation 9, but it helped us to understand that there is a prolonged time period set aside by God for Judgment Day. However, it is actually much longer than 5 months, as we are now looking at a period of 23 inclusive years or 22 actual years (from 2011 to 2033).
