Wicked Men Denounce the Biblical Calendar by Seeking Refuge in Ancient Theological Lies

Let's look at the Scriptures in Exodus 12 once again:

Exodus 12:40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.

41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

The very men who demean the proper Biblical teaching of looking for the deeper spiritual meaning, are saying that the reference to "the sojourning of the children of Israel" is not actually referring directly to the children of Israel but to Abram's initial entry into the land of Canaan.

These are the same people, for the most part, who denounce what they call 'spiritualizing" a text and demand that others go with the plain literal meaning of Scripture seeking no other meaning.

Yet, when it suits their purposes, all of a sudden they see the reference to "the children of Israel" as referring to Abram. The only problem is that Abram does not qualify as being part of the "children of Israel". Abraham was the father of Isaac who was the father of Jacob who had his name changed to Israel by God. Therefore, in the historical record, Abraham was not a child of Israel. He was the father or progenitor of Israel. The Jews in Jesus' day recognized this:

John 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

This means there is no possibility that Abram is the starting point for the 430 year reference. Theologians have made this up out of their own minds. And wicked men, seeking escape from the resulting end time doctrines that accompany the accurate and faithful Biblical calendar of history, have sought refuge in these ancient theological lies.
